Anna Ting Möller presented a fermentation-based sound sculpture that interfaced live kombucha SCOBYs with miso fermented on the temple grounds. Working with the metabolic activity of living cultures as acoustic material, Möller transduced the chemical processes of fermentation into sound—an installation that listens to transformation itself. Situated at the threshold of the temple gate, the work extended her ongoing investigation into living materials as mediums of care, ancestry, and ecological reciprocity, finding in the temple's brewing traditions an unexpected resonance with her own practice.
