Kristel Baldoz is a Filipina-American artist whose work spans dance, ceramics, and performance, often centered on labor, memory, and materiality. Raised in Delano, California by immigrant farmworkers, her practice draws on the embodied histories of agricultural labor and questions of racialized movement. Through sculptural arrangements and performance scores, Baldoz explores the animacy of objects and their capacity to indict and reimagine colonial relations.
